Descriptif du poste

 

  • Answer phone calls and manage mail (USCIS correspondence) for the immigration program.
  • Schedule client appointments and send reminder text messages and/or phone calls
  • Conduct eligibility screenings for walk-in clients including asylees, refugees, immigrants and anyone seeking immigration legal services.
  • Provide appointments and follow up on cases for immigration clients.
  • Maintain a detailed, accurate and comprehensive database of walk-in clients and returning clients.
  • Assist with green card and citizenship applications.
  • Assist with citizenship workshops.
  • Conduct monthly file review and create reports.
  • Create physical files and labels.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and eligibility criteria for immigration legal services.
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned

 

Profil

 

  • Prior related professional experience required.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English required. Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the US immigration system and related benefits.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment and with individuals who are Limited English Proficient (LEP).
  • Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively in a multi-cultural environment is a must.
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills combined with the proven ability to multi-task, prioritize duties and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail required.
  • Interest and ability to contribute both independently and as a key team member.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook) and web-based applications (i.e. Google forms, Box, ETO, databases)
