Descriptif du poste

 

  • Provide a wide variety of direct client services through a trauma-informed framework that safeguards and promotes the dignity and self-determination of clients.
  • Connect clients with IRC and partner resources with a focus on clear and timely communication.
  • Work across teams (Employment, Health and Wellness, Resettlement, Education, Immigration) to communicate client information, advocate on their behalf, and support the coordination of services.
  • Ensure cross-departmental dissemination of intake information regarding newly enrolled clients.
  • Perform various administrative tasks including but not limited to financial reconciliations, requesting checks, and printing vouchers.
  • Coordinate and track the receipt and distribution of client documents and complete data entry procedures in accordance with program and organizational requirements.
  • Prepare client applications for Department of Family and Child Services (DFCS), Social Security, and related program enrollment documentation.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations for client referrals as needed.
  • Satisfy recordkeeping requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Profil

 

  • Undergraduate degree preferred; ideally in Social Work, Human Services, or related field
  • Prior related work experience, including customer service, compliance with program requirements, and accurate and timely recordkeeping
  • Strong commitment to ensuring the success of the IRC mission while adhering to the values of service, accountability, integrity, and equality as defined in the IRC Way
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Proven ability to contribute both independently and as a key team member
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written. Relevant second language abilities preferred 
  • Reliable, professional, resourceful, team-oriented, and sensitive to cultural differences
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills combined with the proven ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and manage time effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Working Environment: Standard Office Work Environment, potentially supplemented with remote work.
