KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAND CONTRIBUTIONS:

Coordinate and support GG leaders and members in their outreach activities by:

  • Developing outreach plans and submitting them to Project team for finalization, approval, and implementation;
  • Guiding GGs on how to develop concept notes for outreach activities;
  • Discussing and updating logistical arrangements for outreach activities/sessions; and
  • Guiding and supporting GGs to conduct impactful outreach sessions.

Monitor and support GGs in managing their established Facebook pages to increase engagement by:

  • Closely working with GG team leaders to brainstorm, co-design, and produce social media contents;
  • Monitoring the implementation of social media campaigns and environmental activities; and
  • Updating the Project team on the progress and reporting number of engagement obtained from GGs’ Facebook pages.
  • Liaise with and mobilize GGs and other youth networks to engage in relevant CGFA’s events;
  • Assist the communications team in organizing and developing social media content to promote CGFA’s campaign messages via its Facebook page, Twitter and YouTube;
  • Assist the team to organize Social and Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC) events such as SBCC toolkits trainings or dissemination workshops by preparing event briefs, agendas, or by taking notes, among other;
  • Monitor and research social media influencers, trending topics and tools and update the project team;
  • Assist the team to brainstorm and implement various SBCC initiatives, campaigns, and activities consistent with the CGFA’s SBCC strategy and plans;
  • Support in collecting and documenting evidence for project success stories and enter data into the internal database management system;
  • Provide support in fieldwork as requested by the Project team and/or Green Group.

SUPERVISORY AND BUDGET RESPONSIBILITY : N/A

QUALIFICATION:

  • Fresh graduate or undergraduate student (preferably in third year and up) in a related field (e.g., English, Marketing/Communications, Advertising or Public Relations);
  • A solid understanding of social media tools and platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Telegram, etc.;
  • Experienced volunteer for youth program and or another environmental program related
  • Other talents, skills, initiative, and approaches which build / contribute to promote the project messages to target audience dissemination;
  • Be able to travel to the Project’s sites.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Good command of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop highly desired;
  • Knowledge and/or involvement in behavior change campaigns, activities or educational training in biodiversity conservation and forest protection;
  • Must be computer literate (working knowledge of word processing, PowerPoint, Excel);
  • Possess good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
