About the Position

The Communications Administrative Officer (CAO) is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative services to the Department of Communications and Marketing, The CAO proactively liaises with team members and staff in other departments as necessary, as well as the Communications Network in order to provide constant and consistent services, streamline practices, and enable effective meetings and operations related to the communications and marketing function.

Requirements

This job might be for you if you have the below skills and qualifications:

  • Higher Diploma in relevant field, including but not limited to business or management with at least 6 years working experience;
  • Experience of delivering an administrative support service to senior staff in a high-profile organization;
  • A high level of competence in the operation of standard office information and communications technology applications including standard Microsoft Office packages including advanced MS Word and Outlook and intermediate Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Organizational savvy, secretarial skills, and applied critical thinking;
  • Enthusiastic, independent, detail-minded, analytical, highly numerate and possesses a good judgement;
  • Solid knowledge on IT skills, proficient with Microsoft Office and familiarity with design software (InDesign/Photoshop);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English includes demonstrating spelling grammar skills;
  • Ability to interact positively and professionally with people in a multi-cultural environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player in the multi-cultural environment.

  • Execute proactive approach;
  • Good influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to positively engage others and secure commitment and time;
  • Flexible and able to manage multiple tasks at once;
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative.

Benefits

This is a Nationally Recruited Staff (NRS) position and WorldFish offers a competitive remuneration package including comprehensive benefits (but not limited to) insurance coverage for staff and eligible dependents, 15% employer provident fund contribution, paid leave and others. The duration of the contract will initially be for a three-year period with possibility for extension, depending on funding and performance.
