JOB DESCRIPTION
The Accountant will oversee the project financials of the IUCN Oceania Regional Office to ensure that business services are accomplished in an effective, efficient and timely manner and in compliance with all legislative, policy and procedural guidelines of IUCN, as applicable.
REQUIREMENTS :

• University Degree in Accounting and Information System. A Post-graduate Diploma in Accounting would be a distinct advantage;
• At least 8 – 10 years of experience in Project accounting;
• Proven experience in project and budget management;
• Fluent English (verbal/written) with excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Proficient in using office applications (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and other web-based management systems;
• Ability to work under pressure and deal tactfully with sensitive issues;
• Willingness to maintain a balance between the operational demands and the strategic aspects of the post;
• Proficient in the use of ERP accounting software or any prominent accounting software;
• Ability to travel as and when required. |
