Key Responsibilities
You will act as a Deputy of the Chief Accountant and overall, you have the responsibility of the execution and delivery of accounting and reporting activities for entities comprehended in TCS, and of statutory accounts for all Danish incorporated entities. You contribute to promote the principles of good accounting practices and continuous improvement. Furthermore, you will ensure optimal processes are in place for financial transactions between shareholders and related affiliates.
These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:
- Contribute to SAP improvement.
- Finance projects, such as payroll reconciliations, deferred tax asset analysis, process optimization.
- Support in the management, transfer and shut down of affiliates and activities in legacy Maersk Oil.
- Coordinate liquidation of TEPDK affiliates (dormant/inactive).
- Bank management, accounting and clearing. Bank, Cash pool and TT reconciliations.
- Ensure high quality balance sheet reconciliation process is in place with regular reviews and aged items actively managed.
- Intercompany reporting and reconciliation with customers-affiliates
- Liaison with auditors and coordination of the annual external audit

As Senior Accountant in TCS in the Finance Team, you will be able to shape and develop a central role with great influence in establishing, processes, tools & systems. Furthermore, preparation of statutory accounts for the entities in Denmark. This is with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies in ensuring high standards, complying to legal and local requirements.

Your background
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience in reporting and Financial Statements analysis.
- Basic knowledge in Danish tax and other local finance regulations.
- Proficiency in oral and written English.
This is a 2 year fixed term position.
