About the role:

As part of the technical team within Virgin Australia’s Oracle ERP Transformation program, you will work closely with the SI, technical leads, technical teams and business SMEs to ensure system integrations and data migrations meet business requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive technical stakeholder requirements solicitation across the Oracle ERP program to ensure end-to-end requirements are captured and documented ;
  • Identify process improvements and conduct process mapping / modelling activities for projects ;
  • Collaborate with the SI, Integration Lead, technical teams, other project BA’s and business SMEs to elicit and document system integration requirements, including technical specifications ;
  • Work with internal teams to extract and migrate data from legacy systems ;
  • Ensure on time completion of project deliverables ;
  • Respond to and resolve project issues in a timely manner ;
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of precise delivery plans ;
  • Be a key point of contact for the Integration and Data Migration for the Oracle ERP program ;
  • Translate technical requirements into simple terms for non-technical stakeholders ;
  • Lead planning workshops, requirements/stakeholder meetings and stand-ups ;
  • Ensure all activities are managed within established budgets.

What we’re looking for:

  • Extensive experience as a Technical Business Analyst ;
  • Proven experience across the whole project lifecycle from initiation to go-live ;
  • Previous experience with Oracle Fusion ERP (Finance, Procurement) implementations (essential) ;
  • Strong abilities in documenting user requirements and processes as well as providing consulting services to testing and development teams ;
  • Experience with integrations and data migration on large complex projects ;
  • Airline experience (desirable) ;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills ;
  • Confidence in taking leadership on projects ;
  • Organisation and time management skills ;
  • Excellent presentation and workshop facilitation skills ;
  • Demonstrated experience working on large, complex projects ;
  • In depth experience of process re-engineering techniques and modelling skills ;
  • Relevant degree qualifications in Information Technology ;
  • Industry standard Business Analysis certification.
