PROVISION A DIAGNOSTIC ANALYSIS & DESIGN OF A POST COVID-19 NEW NORMAL BUSINESS ACTIVITIES OPERATING MODEL

 

 

The African Development Bank is seeking the services of a business process re-engineering consulting firm to help analyze and design its future Post-COVID-19 New Normal Operating model and Office of the future, that ensure high level of productivity, high level of resiliency, high level of development impact and least cost.

The Bank hereby invites Consultancy Firms to indicate their interest in the following Assignment :

A Diagnostic Analysis & Design of A Post Covid-19 New Normal Business Activities Operating Model, as described above.

The services to be provided under the Assignment include: (i) Conduct an overall review to understand the Bank’s Pre-COVID-19 business operating model; (i)Review and assess how the Bank has operated (over the past 8 months) and continues to operate during the COVID-19 crisis and propose any changes or adjustments as needed for improvement; (ii)Take stock of lessons learned from the pandemic and all ongoing internal remote working projects (HR, Facilities, IT, Operations) initiated to cope with COVID-19 impacts and propose any changes or adjustments as needed for improvement. (iii)Conduct a benchmarking exercise on Post-COVID-19 new normal operating requirements with private sector structures (some of which have taken disruptive approaches in their operating models) but also with similar institutions; (iv) Provide a “what-if” resilience test analysis of the proposed model against an array of potential other crises (new and potentially more lethal epidemics, political/social risks, natural/industrial disasters, Cyber-attacks, etc.…); (v) Leveraging of the above design and propose a post-COVID-19 New Normal Operating model, approach and structure for a cost effective and efficient services delivery based on best practice taking stock of all outcomes impacts from this COVID-19 crisis.

The Business Continuity Unit (CHBC), acting through the Corporate Services and Human Resources Complex, invites Consulting Firms to indicate their interest in providing the above-described services. Interested eligible Consulting Firms or associations of Consulting Firms shall, in no more than 10 pages, provide information on their qualifications and experience demonstrating their ability to provide the services (documentation, references for similar services, experience in comparable assignments, availability of qualified staff, etc.).

The eligibility criteria, the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the Bank’s procedures for the acquisition of consulting services funded by the administrative or capital expenditure budget. Please, note that interest expressed by a Consulting Firm does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include it in the shortlist. The Bank will also not be required to give reasons for the rejection of any consulting firm.

The estimated duration of the services is three months, inclusive of 12 months Defects Liability Period and the estimated project start date is 18 January 2021.
