African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Regional Institutional Support Project on Public Financial Governance (RISPFG).

ATAF seeks to procure the services of an Individual consultant to support the delivery of demand driven technical assistance to ATAF member countries.

The Terms of Reference are attached hereto, and the responsibility of the individual consultant is included in the Terms of Reference.

ATAF now invites eligible candidates to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested applicants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services.

The Individual Consultant is expected to have among others the following key competencies;

A graduate degree in Business Administration/Management, Project Management, or any other related field; ii) Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated work experience in project/program management, preferably in an international organisation; iiI) Good knowledge of the tax systems in Africa; iv) Ability to manage effectively tasks of various sizes, from small to complex, and simultaneous competing demands, and to deliver on time; v) Good report writing skills; vi)Good communication and presentation skills; vii) Good command of the written and spoken English; viii) Computer literacy ix) A proactive problem-solving mindset directed towards results delivery; x) Strong project management skills, with good time management; xi) Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations, October 2015,” which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
