The Role :

Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for a Global Head of Reward Shared Service who will beresponsible for the ongoing development and implementation of reward principles, strategy, and framework, which support Oxfam to hire and retain talent with the right capability and experience to achieve its strategic objectives. The role also provides leadership to the Reward Shared Services team, ensuring strong customer service, support and advice on escalated issues, and strong operational delivery. In the first two years, it is envisaged that the role will be instrumental in leading the work to review, refresh, and implement a Reward Strategy in line with the Global Staff Survey Action Plan and Transforming Business Support program.

Who we’re looking for :

We are looking for a candidate with essential attributes of Systems Thinking; Mutual accountability; Agility, Complexity, and Ambiguity and Self-awareness. In addition, it is essential to demonstrate experience in leading rewards in a complex and international environment, developing and implementing reward frameworks, leading a team, must show exceptional stakeholder management and project management skills. The selected candidate must have an HR Generalist background with the ability to see how reward supports across the employee life cycle together with strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical information in plain language

This role will lead on global reward strategy development and implementation across the confederation, project manage confederation wide reward initiatives and oversee the Leadership management of the operational arm of the Reward Shared Service. We are looking for a motivated and dynamic candidate who has previous experience of global reward within a large complex/matrix type organization. You will bring strong proven technical reward, influencing, negotiation and communication skills. In addition, you will have experience of working with senior Managers and Directors on complex Global Reward Matters.

Fluency in English required and competence in French and/or Spanish is desirable.
