ACTIVITES
In order to support Total’s ambition in offshore wind, the Offshore wind business development team needs to be reinforced. The Junior business developer will support Head of development US on specific deals. As a direct report to Head of Offshore wind development US, the candidate will:

  • Ensure to market and regulatory watch of the countries in their respective zones.
  • Contribute to the development strategy in their respective areas.
  • Contribute to ensuring good relations with public & private off takers as well as local stakeholders.
  • Contribute to Identify and establish potential partnerships in development and co-investment.
  • Contribute to specific tenders or acquisitions, in coordination with partners and local entities of the group.
  • Contribute to internal committee’s relevant documentation preparation, in coordination with Structure finance and Legal teams.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
The Junior Business Developer will contribute to deliver bids (government tenders or projects sell down) and prepare corresponding documentation for internal approval

Candidate profile

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
5-7 years working in a BD role. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field. Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to learn. Flexible mindset. Open to very frequent travel. Offshore wind experience is not mandator, but utility scare renewable experience is needed. Only candidates allowed to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship will be considered for this position.
