Job Role Summary

The Salesforce Analyst is part of Sales & Marketing team that supports and develops applications for internal client. (S)he troubleshoots and works with end-users to insure that applications meet their needs. This position is responsible of management and administration of the Salesforce environment in order to implement new business requirements while also assisting with new project and initiatives.

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain, prioritize and report on user request backlog
  • Work with internal customers to gather requirements and implement configuration changes, support development and testing .
  • Follow Change Management guidelines
  • Keep abreast of Salesforce releases, features and best practices.
  • Make recommendations to Management and Business Advisors regarding the best option to be implemented as appropriate.
  • Support Salesforce Projects and New Initiatives.
  • Prepare and maintain training docs and foundation guidelines up-to-date.
  • Follow Agile Methodologies (Kanban, Scrum,…).
  • Continuous improvement keeping the knowledge and training up-to-date.

Technical Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge on Salesforce administration and Development
  • Salesforce structure (objects, fields, relationships, validation rules…)
  • Security & Sharing (roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules…)
  • Salesforce Automation tools (workflows, approval processes, process builder, flows…)
  • Release Management tools (ant, change sets, salesforce DX)
  • Salesforce development tools (apex, visualforce, lightning and javascript)

 

Expected Level of Proficiency

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferably)
• 3+ years’ of experience working with Salesforce
• One or more Salesforce certifications demonstrating current knowledge as a developer (nice to have)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
• Solid understanding of web technologies, such as HTTP, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, DHTML, CS (nice to have)
• Solid knowledge of SQL and understanding of relational databases
• Proficient in writing clean, solid, readable code (essential)
• Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language, such as Java, C#, C++
