Within Total Renewables, the Operations entity is responsible for supervising the operations of the Business Units conducting the renewables projects. Recently created, this Operations division needs to strengthen the way to support the Total Renewables operations with a strong focus on accompanying the organization towards smooth deliveries of projects.

The “Head of Quality Management” position in a few figures…

  1. Develop Total Renewables QA/QC and Supply Chain Management standards, procedures and policies to be implemented and complied with by the Project Companies for all Total Renewables projects under execution, including the development of framework agreements with Third Parties
  2. Analyze the QA/QC and Supply Chain Management strategies and activities implemented by the Project Companies for the projects under execution and provide all the necessary support and advise to fill the potential gaps identified
  3. Customize and provide standardized Total Renewables QA/QC and Supply Chain Management expertise to the Project Companies for all projects in execution to guarantee the proper implementation of the following actions and activities by the Project Companies:
  • Developing and implementing Project’s Quality Management Plan
  • Reviewing, agreeing and monitoring the EPC Project Quality Plan
  • Leading QA/QC Team (Project Company and Owner`s Engineer if applicable) to manage quality of works, including Shop Test & Inspection.
  • Communication of the quality plan and its objectives to staff, Owner`s Engineer and EPC Contractor
  • Supporting all Consultants, Design Consultants and Design, Construction Supervision Consultants and contractors in the implementation of Quality, Plans and procedures and the monitoring of their performance on all Quality matters
  • Developing and implementing audit schedules and plans, including unannounced visits
  • Developing statistical reports on Quality performance
  • Identifying and communicating lessons learned though the programmed lifecycle
  • Managing the programmed quality control testing service
  • Coordinating and managing any 3rd party audits as required
  1. According to Projects’ progress, perform on regular basis QA/QC and Supply chain management review with the Project Companies and ensuring that proper actions plans are adapted and implemented by the Project Companies with respect to the implementation of QA/QC procedures, expediting of materials and equipments, verification all QA/QC documentation from the EPC Contractor
  2. Define and agree with the Project Companies on a Quality Management audit program to be implemented for project in execution
  3. Define EPC Contractors’ standard quality management policies, procedures and general documentation to be applied to Total Renewables projects under execution, including with the preparation of specific workshops

Profil recherché

The ideal candidate profile ? 
You do have a bachelor’s degree in engineering with Engineering/Projects experience
A minimum 15 years working experience in Quality Management of large projects, with at least 10 years in Power Projects, with several projects fully completed. In case that REN experience cannot be ensured, the candidate shall demonstrate that he has an outstanding Power technology profile.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate that he/she has the following capabilities:

  • Experience in the EPC side is mandatory, OEM EPC exposure is preferred. Experience as a developer/Owner is welcome.
  • Key equipment manufacturing process experience and/or understanding is essential
  • Should have the taste for field missions. You are rigorous, methodical, and organized.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.

Technical requirements and responsibilities:

  • Detailed analysis and continuous understanding/implementation of the PPA and EPC Contracts in all aspects related to quality management and inspection compliance;
  • Support to the financial team in terms of verification of payment milestones achievement and expected payment status based on the QC compliance.
