The role of Manager, Consumer Partnerships reports into the Head of Consumer Partnerships. The role is integral to ensuring that the Velocity program and partners achieve their business objectives and outcomes. Your focus will be on the creation and differentiated strategies for individual partners and will define, establish, and deliver product and marketing initiatives aligned with developed strategies.

You will be responsible for:

  • Develop and execute the Consumer Partnerships, partnership strategy ;
  • Drive sound commercial agreements with Partners ;
  • Maintaining strong Partner relationships and demonstrating the value to Partners ;
  • Working closely with the internal stakeholders in Marketing, Operations, Finance and Data Analytics to ensure that a range of promotions are provided to Velocity Members throughout the year ;
  • Set budget targets, report on performance, lead and manage all billing and reconciliation of Partners ;
  • Assist in leading and motivating a team of Consumer Partnerships professionals ;
  • Assist in building a decision framework for the acquisition of new Partners.

What we are looking for:

  • Holding over 10 years’ experience within loyalty, marketing or key account management environments. You would have come from either a loyalty, commercial, Sales or Agency background ;
  • Deep understanding of regulations and concepts relevant to loyalty programs ;
  • Proven track record of successfully securing significant commercial partnership deals from initiation to contract closure ;
  • Strong commercial acumen, with ability to lead commercial negotiations ;
  • Exceptional influencing and negotiating skills, with the ability to build and develop productive and successful business relationships ;
  • Proven track record in value-based selling and managing margins in competitive environments ;
  • Great numerical and quantative skills which enable you to build, develop and evaluate business cases ;
  • Minimum 3 years experience coaching and mentoring teams.
