What you will be doing

The Integrated Operations Centre is a multi-functional/multi-divisional team created to coordinate, monitor, support and enable our internal customer and their resources to deliver a market leading, safe, on time, customer centric and efficient operational network.

As the Business Support and Improvement Advisor (IOC) you will support the broader IOC Leadership team with cross functional processes improvement and to drive, support and manage divisional initiatives that enable our customers and team members to deliver market leading operational performance.

The position is based in Brisbane Head Office in Southbank and, you will work closely with the Leader, Business Support and Improvement (IOC).

As a Business Support and Improvement Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Support all IOC departments with day to day operational activity
  • Create effective and intuitive Power BI dashboards to showcase divisional performance
  • Champion business improvement initiatives including process and system enhancements and streamlining, automation and change activity that increases productivity and team engagement
  • Coordination of operational projects, exercises and activities within IOC departments
  • Support Leader Business Support and Improvement on various project delivery and management tasks

You’ll be great in this role if you: 

  • Demonstrated experience working within an Airline operational department or environment;
  • A genuine passion for customer experience, data and continuous improvement;
  • Demonstrated experience working with Power BI and creation of dashboards;
  • Experience in communicating effectively with all levels of an organisation;
  • Exceptional problem solving skills coupled with the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines.
