Appel d’offres : UNICEF recherche un Consultant international pour l’art communautaire (H/F), Bangladesh.

 

 

Major Tasks/Milestone:

  1. Conduct induction workshop and report;
  2. Identify a team of 50 local artists to develop as Core Trainers under MoWCA;
  3. Conduct field visits and provide inception report of the community-led art project in children and adolescent clubs and other platforms;
  4. Coordinate with CP Manager, CP Officers, Planning officer and other relevant staff in preparing work plan, budget, and implementation strategy;
  5. Decorate Clubs and Hubs;
  6. Decorate Clubs and Hubs;
  7. Submission of monthly and completion reports to UNICEF.

Deliverables/Outputs:

  1. Induction workshop and Report;
  2. Select 50 local artists;
  3. Weekly mission report and coordination meeting minutes;
  4. Progress report;
  5. Decorate at least 30 platforms (children and adolescent clubs or sports premises, Child protection services hubs) with children and community members directly during the assigned period;
  6. Decorate another 30 platforms (children and adolescent clubs or sports premises, Child protection services hubs) with children and community members directly during the assigned period;
  7. Completion reports along with all the deliverables documented by photos and registries of all participants in the activities.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • Master’s in Art, Visual Arts, or Painting from any recognized university
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of Arts
    • 10 years of working experience with children and adolescents, especially marginalized groups, would be a preference
    • 10 years of working experience with low literacy community and parents would be an added advantage
    • Good written and oral communications skills for reporting are required
    • Demonstrate strong competencies in the drive for results, communication, and working with people.
    • Experience in working with government counterparts and civil society organizations will be an asset
    • Willingness to travel frequently, including hard-to-reach and remote areas every week
  • Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergencies is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
