We are Controllers and our primary mission consists of:
1) Reflecting the business transactions in the financial records.
2) Producing accurate and timely financial statements.
3) Providing financial analysis support for the business.
Controller’s supports Upstream, Downstream and Chemical activities which include General Accounting (GA) and Financial Accounting (FA&R) such as Accounting Services, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Bank Accounting and Joint Interest Accounting.

Job Role Responsibilities

• Ensures accuracy of the financial reporting for the Downstream, Chemical and Upstream businesses
• Reconciliation analysis
• Reconciling inventory balances
• Maintaining proper asset balances and disposition
• Ensuring proper bank accounting
• Managing the large number of intercompany charges
• Accounting support

Expected Level of Proficiency

  • Preferably 1-2 year experience in Controllers, Accounting, Financing or Business Administration
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration and/or engineering from an accredited four year college or university
    • Mathematical Skills (Ability to calculate and handle figures)
    • Reasoning / Analytical Ability (Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions / to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several variables)
    • Advanced English language skills – high level of interfacing with internal / external customers
    • Strong interpersonal skills (as required, with requisite language skills)
    • Good communication skills
    • Drive to excel

    • Process orientation and understanding of work activities
    • Hands-on knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office Tools (e.g. Word, Excel, Access) and other supporting systems
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
