Job position:

Communication Specialist (Volontariat Solidarité Internationale contract) – In PSE Communication Department, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Missions :

  • Manage social media channels and local communication tools to promote PSE’s activities and programs to internal and external audience;
  • Manage and coordinate on-site visits for external visitors, donors, sponsors;
  • Manage content creation for the different communication channels (interviews, photos, testimonies…)
  • Work closely with PSE France head office for common projects;
  • Develop and spread communication tools;
  • Manage and facilitate public and media relations and guarantee the good image of PSE and the well-use of PSE’s related information;
  • Coordinate the needs in communication from the different PSE’s department and control the use of the information and the communication tools.

Education

  • Master degree Mass Communication /or Public Relations /or Marketing /or equivalent

Experience

  • At least 2 years working experience in communication and/or events organization

Skills

  • Good writing skills and willingness to create various content (interviews, photos…);
  • Taste for challenge;
  • Meticulous;
  • Demonstrate teamwork skills in a multi-cultural context;
  • Artistic and creative abilities;
  • French native speaker with very good command and English (reading & writing). Khmer is a plus;
  • Knowledge on DTP tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator…) and Canva.

Attitudes

  • Willing to put your skills and talents at the service of an NGO as part of a volunteer mission;
  • Demonstrate a deep and sincere interest in access to education for children from poor families;

Type of Contract: Limited duration with a minimum period of one year, 2 to 3 years being preferable.

 Compensation: to be discussed
VSI contract for European Union Nationals, providing comprehensive coverage for healthcare, assistance/repatriation insurance, pension contribution, plane ticket one way and return, plus round plane ticket once a year to home country
