Job Description

Project Development
• Pre-qualification of contractor and site due diligence
• Cost refining per value engineering and scope change.
• Design phase involvement and management.
• Construction drawings review and approval
• Project procurement include construction package tendering documents and review
• Obtain all required construction permits.

Project Implementation 
• Supervise and manage contractors and laborers at construction sites. make sure that the safety measures are in place per HSE regulation.
• Responsible for proper administration of construction contracts.
• Attend coordination meetings with project management, general contractor and other critical vendors
• Manage construction schedule
• Conduct project site visits to review project schedule, quality of work and compliance to construction documents
• Manage and approve payment to vendors ensuring work has been completed per schedule

Project Close Out

• Prepare punch list
• Obtain final acceptance inspections and Certificate of Occupancy
• Confirm punch list items have been corrected before Start-up and approving final payments
• Support project manager to review and approve general contractor’s change order
• Leading for equipment/facilities test ,commissioning and start-up.
• Review and check as-built drawings by engineering firm and contractor.
Other Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned, based on the project and business need

 

Candidate profile

​• Bachelor Degree or above in Mechanical or CSA background.
• Minimum 15-20 years industrial facility or polymer compounding  construction experience is preference .
• Verbal and written communication skills with a good command of English.
• Strong capabilities in scheduling, budgeting, safety management, quality control and cost control.
• Knowledge Microsoft project planner and AutoCAD.
• Ability to review P&ID and Equipment Drawings
