Job Description

The Industrial Distributor Account Manager has the following responsibilities:

  • Guarantee the achievement of the sales targets by implementing the defined action plans ;
  • Prepare monthly targets by customer ;
  • Carry out a weekly sales report ;
  • Prepare a detailed action plan for sales of lubricants by product / pack ;
  • Organize a quarterly Business Review with his Distributors ;
  • Attend weekly sales meeting ;
  • Manage and support his distributors sales force ;
  • Coach his distributors in order to optimize the distributor’s resources ;
  • Ensure that his accounts follow their payment terms ;
  • Know the local markets, detect the expectations of our distributors and identify the main actors per region ;
  • Define the potential of his sector ;
  • Identify all the actors ;
  • Prospect and select distributors to be recruited within the framework of delegation defined by his management ;
  • Prepare prospection list and update the list monthly basis ;
  • Manage the relationship with the distributors, and the distributor’s customers ;
  • Close contact with customers (DISTRIBUTORS and Distributor’s customers) ;
  • Monitor the sell out of the distributors ;
  • Lead the marketing plan ;
  • Implement and follow up a dedicated marketing plan for each distributor based on the national frame ;
  • Provide technical and commercial support as well as operational marketing for them ;
  • Organize weekly visits with distributors sales team ;
  • Organize 4 seminars per year at the sales academy for our partner’s customers ;
  • Collect all outstanding dues ;
  • Weekly follow up and feedback on the age file during the weekly sales meeting ;
  • Report his activity and potential growths in Salsa ;
  • Pass all visits reports, opportunities and the prospection into SALSA ;
  • Contribute to the implementation and the respect of HSEQ/ compliance policies of the Total Group ;
  • Develop a high level of ownership of the Group’s golden rules by sharing the safety culture with partners ;
  • Comply with HSE policies & 12 golden rules ;
  • Confronted with few risks when carrying out one’s activity ;
  • Has a basic knowledge of HSE issues ;
  • Apply & implement the Anti-corruption , Antitrust Compliance and Integrity Policies and Program ;
  • Implement the required process of due diligences within my area of responsibilities  ;
  • Apply the entire ethical approach and TOTAL code of conduct values.

 

Candidate profile

  • University graduate (Engineer or Accounting) ;
  • Minimum 6 years experience ;
  • Excellent commercial skills ;
  • Ability for team-work and to have a synthetical set of mind, to look for new innovative solutions and set priorities ;
  • Ability to represent the corporation with our partners ;
  • Operational experience of lubricant in a fast growth perspective ;
  • Able to identify risky situations within the context of one’s activity and warns the relevant services (HSEQ, Operations).
