Job Description
Systems
- Administer, monitor, and support all aspects of the server hardware, OS and DB server infrastructure to ensure the 24/7/365 availability of the service and provide 24/7 1st, and 2nd line call out service;
- Administer virus-protection and patch deployment environments across all Linux and Microsoft platforms;
- Testing and installation of OS and DB technical patches for bug fixes and increased level of security;
- Carry out the transport to production of the migrations or upgrades of server based applications in coordination with the development teams;
- Provide mid-level expertise and support on all Microsoft (OS and DB) and Linux server technologies as well as all server based business applications;
- Ensure the availability of the Disaster Recovery server environment meeting the Business operational requirements;
- Research and advise of feasibility of the new projects and keep abreast of developments in the server and systems’ architecture fields;
- Configure and implement complex server technology solutions throughout the Company with an emphasis on Microsoft (OS and DB) and Linux technologies and in accordance with Company and local IT guidelines;
- Ensure the existence and completeness of related documentation and procedures.

Candidate profile
Systems related skills: MS Windows Server, MS Active Directory, DHCP/DNS Management , SQL Server, MS IIS, Backup Infrastructure, Software/Patch deployment solutions, change control and monitoring processes, Citrix, VMWare;
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent certification ;
- 3-5 Years of experience in Server Administration (Windows / Redhat Linux) ;
- Understanding of the Energy Trading business and constraints ;
- US Work Permit.
