In India, Jhpiego works across various states in close collaboration with national and state governments, providing technical assistance in the areas of family planning, maternal and child health, strengthening human resources for health, and non-communicable diseases. These programs are funded by USAID, Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited, UNICEF, World Health Organization, University of Manitoba, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF), and others.

Jhpiego is hiring for the position of HR Assistant based at Delhi. The position will be responsible for HR coordination activities and managing employee database and others activities assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

Recruitments

  • Post position on different Job portals;
  • Screening of profiles for junior roles;
  • Create applicant database;
  • Coordinate for interview scheduling and written assignments;
  • Update recruitment related trackers.

Database management

  • Maintain hard and soft data related to recruitments, employees, consultants, trainings and insurance company;
  • Provide support to the HR Advisor for online data management;
  • Prepare HR letters as requested by supervisor;
  • Create personal files as per the checklist;
  • Assist for HR Audits.

Onboarding

  • Support in smooth onboarding process of new hires;
  • Take consistent feedback from new hires;
  • Coordinate for HR orientation.

Staff Development

  • Coordinate for trainings and capacity building initiatives for the staff;
  • Coordinate for Employee Engagement activities;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

Abilities/Skills:

  • Attention to detail & accuracy;
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English;
  • Proficiency in MS Office with special emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to work in a multicultural work environment;
  • Willingness and flexibility to work on a wide range of tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Post-Graduation/ Masters in HR with two years of experience in HR;
  • Familiarity with the development sector will be preferred.
