Conseil Norvégien pour les Réfugiés (NRC) recherche un Agent des actifs logistiques (H/F), Irak.

 

 

 

Asset Management:

  • Manage assets and inventory control of items for NRC in Iraq and report to the line manager in weekly/ monthly basis.
  • Update the Mission Assets and inventory at NRC office and guest/staff houses and generate periodic reports balances to the line manager in a monthly/quarterly basis and ensure that procedures outlined in the NRC Asset Management Manual are implemented at Country Office. Ensure the asset registers are updated at all times.
  • Ensure that procedures outlined in the NRC Asset Management Manual are implemented at Country Office and Area Offices.
  • Ensure proper recording and updating of asset register and ensure the appropriate coding and tags are placed on each item.
  • Schedule and conduct physical count of assets at the Country Office level and support each area office with the count in the Areas
  • Advise and support NRC area offices staff in managing the assets, in coordination with the line manager (which includes providing training to key logistics staff in the assets policies and procedures)
  • Make follow-up on missing assets to ensure that they are accounted for, and procedure is complete
  • Manage and follow the disposal process of the NRC Country office and area offices.
  • Assist with Facility Management processes.
  • Manage the transfer of inter-organisational assets.
  • Manage the performance of asset verification according to prescribed time frames
  • Manage the improvement of operational controls as reported on by Internal Audit
  • Manage the performance of asset verification according to prescribed time frames
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience from working as an Assets Officer in a humanitarian sector/recovery context
  • Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
  • Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
  • Fluency in English both Oral and Written
  • Willing and able to remote areas and to field offices, ability to work flexibly on non-workdays if needed. Willingness to travel and work in rural locations and live in basic conditions
  • Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft applications, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Working level of Kurdish & Arabic is an asset
  • Ability to deliver under tight deadlines

Contract Duration: 12 Months –  renewable based on funding and performance
Duty Station: Erbil and 50% travel to Federal Iraq

Salary: G5/S1, According to NRC’s Iraq salary scale and terms and conditions.
