Recruitment Qualifications

Education: 

An advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in computer science, information systems or related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with an additional four years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Certification in Cisco Certified network Associate (CCNA) or higher (CCNP) is desirable.

Experience:

•             A minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in the planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of computer information, networks (WANLAN) and telecommunication systems or related area is required (Minimum 2 years’ experience with Master’s degree).

•             Knowledge, management and supervision of ICT services and teams, hardware and software platforms, telecommunications facilities are required.

•             Knowledge of Microsoft Office365 applications support, web design and development of web-based office applications, Azure Active Directory knowledge is desirable.

•             Relevant experience in managing information and communication technology systems in disaster response and/or complex emergencies in countries affected by disasters or conflict is desirable.

•             Relevant experience in the UN common system or comparable international organization is required.

Language Requirements: 

•             Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
