As of June, 2021, ACF in Mozambique has undertaken an initial scoping mission in October/November 2020 and a rapid informal information gathering in May 2021 for nutrition. This strategy is based on these results, plus the information gathered through ACF field presence and cluster’s participation since early 2021. Given the volatility of the context, including security situation changes since March 2021 and the consequent increase of humanitarian needs, ACF aims to completed an Food Security & Livelihoods targeted assessment.

Humanitarian needs among conflict-affected populations in Cabo Delgado are wide-ranging and span all of ACF’s traditional sector of expertise, including Food Security& Livelihoods, Nutrition & Health and WASH, which have been prioritized as part of our emergency strategy in partnership with local and international NGOs already present in Cabo Delgado to support the emergency response in the area. In light of the rapidly changing context, the humanitarian needs and ACF’s expertise, geographic area of intervention will focus on H2R (Hard to Reach) areas comprising Mueda, Nangade and Macomia, with complementarity in districts with likely IDPs’ influx pathways: Ancuabe, Montepuez and Chiure.

Votre poste et vos responsabilités

Your main responsibilty is to secure sound logistical performance and coordination at mission level in order to provide programs with optimum support

  • Contribute to the definition of the mission strategy and coordinate logistics at national level ;
  • Promote and ensure collaboration and coordination in logistics with the mission’s partners ;
  • Prevent and manage fraud and corruption ;
  • Manage the Logistics team in capital and be support/technical Manager for Logistics Manager in the bases.

 

Votre profil

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics, Business, Engineering or another related field ;
  • Master in Logistics, Humanitarian Studies or similar an asset ;
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience in field logistics coordination and security management in a Humanitarian Aid organization ;
  • The postholder should be fluent English speaker and that could also have fluency in either Portuguese, Spanish or Italian ;
  • Practical experience in logistics management and coordination within the field of supply chain management, fleet/transport management and asset management ;
  • Proven ability in translating analysis and evaluation into operational planning and strategic decision-making. Excellent team management skills, good listener, high communication skills.

Vos conditions d’emploi

  • 2,5 monthsfixed term contract under French legislation ;
  • Monthly gross salary from2450 to 2800€ upon experience  ;
  • Monthly per diem and living allowance: 427€ net, field paid ;
  • Monthly country allowance: 150€   ;
  • 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens  ;
  • Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house ;
  • Medical coverage: 100% coverageof health contributions (CFE + complementary health) and repatriation insurance ;
  • Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 € at each RnR period ;
  • Training: Free and unlimited access to the certifying e-learning platform Crossknowledge ©.
