Recruitment an IT support engineer

 

IT Support Engineer is responsible for coordination of IT helpdesk activities, monitoring of IT services requests, incidents and IT Asset management.

As IT Support Engineer you will be responsible for :-

  • An IT Support Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, awareness ITIL standards for the department processes.
  • Oversee daily volume of incidents, service requests generated; help prioritize incidents across to ensure timely resolution of issues with highest impact on user base.
  • Follow-up, coordinate with IT teams and update the status to the end users.
  • Proactively manage communications pertaining to technical support, operations, changes, outages, and issues to assigned client base in a timely, professional manner.
  • Regularly communicates service performance levels to key stakeholders.
  • Uses ITIL/IT Service Management best practices to identify and analyze patterns and trends from a variety of data sources.
  • Responsible for IT Asset movement and maintenance.
  • Assisting IT Management with Document Management requirements, as instructed.
  • Performing other IT-Based duties and participate in IT projects as instructed by IT Management.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor�s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • ITIL Foundations preferred with proven experience in IT environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of incident, change, release, configuration, asset management methodologies, concepts & related best practices required.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure & applications architecture and layout required.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Servers Operating systems (Windows and Linux) and associated hardware/software
  • Knowledge of Database software and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Structured Cabling and Network devices and their configuration
  • Knowledge of End User devices configuration and Technologies.
