Orange is seeking talented and motivated students for its International Internship program in the following areas:

  • Business Development and Proposal Writing
  • Program Development
  • Research and Data Analysis
  • Risk Management
  • Social Media Content
  • Training and Capacity Building Management
  • Monitoring and Evaluation

This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Our interns will work closely with our experienced team members, providing them with valuable skills and knowledge in their chosen fields. The internship could be remote or on-site, and we prefer students who are included in paid and reputable scholarships to apply.

Tasks and responsibilities

The exact tasks will depend on the department you will join. After a meeting with your line manager/ supervisor, you will agree on the roles, responsibilities and tasks that suit you.

  • You will select from the tasks line manager, as you will be considered as an assistant from the first day following the week’s orientation/ training.
  • Once you are qualified to take on more tasks, more tasks will be delegated to you.
  • Your areas of interest and experience will be considered; for instance, if you prefer to work on projects related to research and development, you will be allocated to this type of project. If you prefer to be involved in projects related to Syria or Turkey, you will be involved in projects/ proposals/ trainings related to the required country.
  • You will be involved in many tasks related to secondary data research, proofreading, data entry, translation, webinar preparation and delivery.
  • You will report directly to your supervisor/ line manager
  • Maintaining and updating project databases and workflow management software.

Other

  • Adhere fully to the commitments and rules of Orange’s Code of Conduct.
  • Undertake any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the line manager.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic is desirable;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization applications;
  • Able to meet strict deadlines and organize time well;
  • Able to communicate effectively with team members who may be working remotely;
  • Hard-working, proactive and able to prioritize and delegate a demanding workload;
  • Knowledge of the MENA region context will be an advantage;
  • Familiarity with the humanitarian sector/ NGOs/ donors is an asset;
  • Sound decision-making and organizational skills;
  • Familiarity with international cultures.
