The Role:

Oxfam Syria is looking for SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER 

To provide day to day operational and/or technical HR support and to implement operational plans to enhance the organization’s performance through our people.

We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam’s mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

•    Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field is required.
•    At least 3 to 5 years HR progressive experience in humanitarian context on similar role.
•    At least 2 years’ experience as a HR generalist covering the employee life cycle.
•    Good interpersonal skills and high level of confidentiality is mandatory.
•    Strong communication skills, able to build strong working relationships with a wide range of managers.
•    Experience of flexible approach to work and finding solutions to problems.
•    Detailed, oriented, good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
•    Commitment to gender equality, diversity issues and principles of equal opportunities.
•    Ability to work as a member of a diverse team.
•    Fluency in verbal and written English and Arabic
