Purpose and details

This Scope of Work is aimed for the vender to provide the COVID-19 vaccination services to Thai and non-Thai populations in 50 areas/places in Thailand (one time per an area) with the long-acting antibody (Evusheld®) which will be provided by the Department of Disease Control. During the vaccination services, the vender will coordinate closely with 12 Offices of Disease Prevention and Control (ODPCs) and Provincial Health Offices (PHOs) in each province. It is expected that the COVOD-19 vaccination services in 50 areas/places may cover 8,000 cases approximately (Thai and non-Thai populations) in those provinces who are eligible for this type of COVID-19 booster vaccines, following to the guideline of Department of Disease Control.

The details of this works are as follows:

  • Provide the COVID-19 vaccination services with the booster dose of long acting antibody (Evusheld®) for 50 areas/places in Thailand, such as senior health care centers, temples, community clubs, schools/colleges, market places, or other gatherings, which to be selected by Department of Disease Control.
  • Prior to each of COVID-19 vaccination service, the vender must implement the promotion activity of the COVID-19 vaccination service in the selected area. This activity can be implemented in collaboration with the community group and network in that area. As for the promotion plan, the vender must formally hold a consultative meeting with Department of Disease Control to mutually discuss and finalize this promotion plan before starting providing the COVID-19 vaccination services in each selected area. The vender must use only the available materials, e-materials and media that already developed by Department of Disease Control.
  • The vender must provide one coordinator for each area/place for coordination. This coordinator will coordinate on daily basis with ODPC/PHO for promotion activity and COVID-19 vaccination service in that area/place.
  • The vender must prepare and ensure the readiness of the venue/place before providing COVID-19 vaccination services in accordance with the standard/guideline from Department of Disease Control. This also include transportation of the relevant equipment and supplies to that selected areas/places.
  • The vender must provide at least 2 health professionals to work for each area/place. Further, operating time for COVID-19 vaccination service must be at least 3 hours.
  • The vender must prepare the formal name badges for all relevant staff involving in the COVID-19 vaccination service including the health government staff and community volunteer (if any).
  • The COVID-19 vaccination service must be strictly complied with the guidelines of Department of Disease Control and Ministry of public Health and it will be supervised by ODPC/PHO which responsible for that area/place.

Timeline

This COVID-19 vaccination service must be conducted during 1-31 May 2023.

Deliverables and required outputs

The vender must do the following as deliverables for this work:

  • Holding a meeting with Department of Disease Control for preparation and planning for COVID-19 vaccination service as well as promotion activity.
  • Conducting the promotion activities for 50 areas/places in Thailand
  • Completing the COVID-19 vaccination services for 50 areas/places in Thailand with at least three-hour operating time for each time.

The required outputs for the venders are as follows:

  • Summary meeting minutes for the meeting Department of Disease Control for preparation and planning for COVID-19 vaccination service as well as promotion activity.
  • Final report that including
    • information on 50 areas/places for this COVID-19 vaccination services
    • Information on promotion activities at 50 areas/places
    • Information on cases who received the COVID-19 vaccination services.

Remarks: the relevant information must be in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act as well as the data confidentiality policy of Ministry of Public Health.

  3. Proposal in English contains the following information: company profile, implementation plan, price, payment condition and other necessary information.
  4. The company formal documents such as company certificate, VAT certificate, relevant health certificates and other related documents must be submitted.
  5. The Proposal to be submitted must be valid at least 30 days (or more) from the submission date.
  6. The deadline for submission is 18 April at 17.00 (Thailand time). Any Proposal received after the deadline will be considered as non-responsive and will not be accepted.
  7. FHI 360 will acknowledge receipt of your Proposal by return email.
