| Qualifications and ExperienceRequired qualifications · A post-graduate degree in Veterinary Science or related degree in biological or medical fields · At least 10 years of professional experience in the field of antimicrobial resistance and quality of veterinary products · At least 5 years of experience in an international environment Additional qualification and experience (assets) · Exposure to or experience with national Veterinary Services · Exposure to the work of International Organisations. Requirements Technical skills · Proven knowledge in animal health and antimicrobial resistance · Understanding and experience in scientific projects · Excellent writing skills and ability to summarise complex technical discussions into clear and concise reports · Ability to work in English at a high level including excellent oral and written communication skills · Good computer skills in a Microsoft environment. Additional skills (assets) · Good working knowledge a third OIE official language (Spanish or French) · Strong understanding of and commitment to Good Regulatory Practices · Familiarity with the OIE Codes and Manuals Interpersonal skills · Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal, presentations) · Organisational awareness: strong ability to establish priorities and work within tight timelines · Attention to detail and capacity for global overview · Courtesy, tact and ability to establish and maintain good working relations in a multinational and multicultural environment |
