Appel d’offres : Save the children recherche un Responsable mondial des “Partenariats stratégiques pour l’impact des programmes”(H/F).

Role Purpose:

In line with the organisation’s Theory of Change, the Grand Bargain and principles of localization, Save the Children’s 2022-24 Global Strategy calls on the organisation to invest in strategic partnerships as an enabler towards impact on the lives of children, in line with strategic goals and cross-cutting “enablers”. In order to elevate and amplify impact from partnerships, a deliberate outcome-driven approach that aligns with Save the Children’s partnership principles is required. Key milestones to achieve this have already been defined.

One such milestone is the ‘Strategic Partnerships for Programme Impact’ workstream. To deliver this, the Global ‘Strategic Partnerships for Programme Impact’ Lead will be responsible for driving the implementation of the work-plan for the benefit of all contexts. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, this includes the following:

  1. Lead the implementation of the Strategic Partnerships for Programme Impact workstream to support SCI’s global ambitions to maximise impact, in collaboration with other SCI centre functions, members and thematic colleagues.
  2. Support strategic partnership approaches (specifically related to programming) at the global and regional levels, through the development of tools, guidance and templates as well as providing advice to colleagues.
  3. Lead on knowledge management, sharing and learning of Strategic Partnership approaches and best practices – including equitable partnering.

In this one-year position, the postholder will be responsible for establishing the workstream and forming working relationships and collaboration that will contribute to the long-term success of the workstream. The postholder will also deliver on core activities to support development of partnerships that will contribute to achievement of the Global Goals.

In the event of a major event, deadline, incident or risk related to partnership work, the role holder may be expected to work outside the normal job description and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
