L’Organisation du Traité de l’Atlantique Nord (OTAN) : Assistant(e) d’état-major (santé / sécurité / infrastructure) au 1er bataillon de transmissions de l’OTAN à Wesel (Allemagne).

 

 

The successful candidate has the following qualifications/experience:

  • Higher Secondary education and intermediate vocational training in occupational health, health and safety or related discipline leading to technical or professional certification with 2 years post related experience OR

Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training in related discipline leading to a professional qualification or accreditation with 4 years post related experience;

  • A by Germany recognized OSH Management and Systems qualification;
  • Proven knowledge of EU laws regulating occupational health and safety;
  • Proven knowledge of German law regulating occupational health and safety;
  • Practical experience implementing OSH policies;
  • Very Good Command of English language (oral and written).

Desirable qualifications/experience are:

  • Good knowledge of the Host nation language German;
  • Experience in an international organization;
  • Experience in a military environment.

The successful selected candidate needs to complete a NATO medical examination and have a NATO security clearance before an employment offer will be released.

The medical examination will take place with our medical consultant and is required to determine if the recommended candidate is fit to perform the duties and is deployable to NATO’s areas of operation. This position will be filled for a definite duration of 2 years by a NATO International Civilian.
