MSF is looking for an intern for the Learning and Development (LnD) unit; to support its Learning Solutions circle, and specifically the HR, Finance and Supply team within the Leaning Solutions Circle.

This team is in charge of co-designing the LnD Strategy for the 3 departments as well as designing and implementing solutions that address the LnD needs.

Under the supervision, and with the support, of the LnD Partner and 2 LnD referents for FINHR & Supply, the intern will progressively take responsibilities in the following activities. The scope of responsibilities may vary depending on the intern profile and interests :

MAIN ACTIVITIES 

  1. Organization and co-facilitation of learning events
  • Booking of Zoom/MS Teams meetings/webinars and communication of the practical information to the relevant stakeholders
  • Technical facilitation of learning events, specifically HR, FIN and/or supply onboarding sessions and ad hoc other events
  • Briefing of facilitators
  • Update, communication and analysis of courses’ evaluation surveys
  • Preparation of F2F learning events including: communication with participants and facilitators, room and learning materials’ preparation.
  1. Support to specific courses’ development/translation
  • Translation of courses: follow-up of the translators’ work, proofreading of the materials in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts, integration of the translated materials to the e-learning courses.
  • Creation and updates of learning tools for virtual classes (with Mural, Mentimeter, ppt…)
  • Proofreading of (new) course materials including F2F, hybrid and e-learning materials
  • E-learning courses’ design testing

The intern may also contribute to some ot the LnD unit working groups depending on his/her profile and interests.

Competencies

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates creativity
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent English and French writing and speaking skill
  • Experience in learning events facilitation is an asset
  • Computer skills: proficiency in O365, MS Office Suite. Knowledge of learning apps (Mural, Mentimeter) and LMS (Totara) is an asset.

Qualifications

  • Academic background in Development Studies/ Pedagogy/Educational sciences and/or Social sciences
  • A background in Human resources, Finance or Supply is an asset.
