Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level UNIX system administration for UNIX, AIX & Linux environment
  • Increase UNIX infrastructure efficiency on a high-scale complexity technical landscape by regular review of the landscape exploring the utilization visible and report possible optimizations
  • Guarantee a good performance levels of both UNIX servers and Storage subsystems by active performance and system monitoring, preventive maintenance and server tasks automation
  • Support the HW vendor for the annual OS patching for UNIX environment, 3rd party vendor’s management and collaboration
  • UNIX Scripting skills required for interface management
  • Implement integrations requested by customers
  • Deploy updates and fixes
  • Responsible for effective Disaster Recovery solution testing according to the yearly DR plans
  • Ensure that all necessary Security considerations are implemented and considered within the customer environment
  • Support and manage the Enterprise Disk Storage systems (EMC VMAX3, VNX and IBM DS series) in Central Data Center
  • Troubleshooting in case of problems related to performance and availability issues

 

Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience in UNIX administration including LVM; UNIX scripting skills;
  • UNIX networking including NFS, Samba, CIFS, DNS, routing is strong advantage  ;
  • Experience in Docker, Docker compose, Docker registries, Api gateway  ;
  • Good experience on container orchestration technologies  ;
  • Red Hat Open Shift, Docker, Kubernetes and public cloud  ;
  • Experience with some of the products: IBM AIX, Linux, PowerVM, VMware, PowerHA is desirable  ;
  • Enterprise Disk Storage (SAN) management and experience is desirable  ;
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills  ;
  • Work in international environment  ;
  • Written and spoken English is essential  ;
  • Good communications skills.
