ExxonMobil recruits a Cost, Schedule and Control Engineer – Huizhou, 44, CN

Job Role Responsibilities:
  • Performs cost estimation and project control related activities on Capital projects, using ExxonMobil in-house tools and ExxonMobil Capital Projects Management System.
  • Estimate project scope cost using appropriate tools and systems.
  • Engage design/execution/peer input as required.
  • Ensure all assumptions / clarifications are properly documented.
  • Provide support for any selection and optimization during project development.
  • Support project team in identification, evaluation and capture of capital efficiency opportunities and estimate risks.
  • Perform cost reconciliation to previous estimates as project develops.
  • Work with Benchmarking group to develop relevant benchmarks to be included in the estimate confidence package.
  • Perform project control activities to keep project within cost budget and schedule.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • 7 to 12 years’ experience in EPC or project management in oil and gas / petrochemical industry.
  • Experience in international projects, multi-national company (MNC), Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise (WOFE) or JV is an advantage.
  • Familiar with venture/project objectives and establish appropriate cost estimate basis consistent with the objectives.
  • Experienced in cost estimation or proposal execution.
  • Familiarity with costing tools used in industry preferred.
  • Basic understanding of project development and execution process required.
  • Broad knowledge of industry standards and related work processes
  • Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills
  • Mobile for geographical relocation without restrictions
  • Able to articulate technical issues to a non-technical audience
  • Be able to use English as working Language
  • Able to work well with others in a fast-changing environment
