Key Responsibilities   
As a Student Assistant at Total, you will get to understand the oil and gas industry. In becoming the responsible energy major committing to better energy, there is still a need for hydrocarbons in meeting energy demands. In this team, you will be provided with an in-depth insight into the everyday work life interfacing with a multitude of stakeholders. This is a way for you to turn theory from e.g. data collection, communication, accounting etc. into practice.

Overall, with the varying day-to-day tasks and approximately 20 hours per week preferably during office hours (7.00-16.00), you are responsible of managing and shaping your daily tasks. You will be part of the HR Services team, but your area of responsibility will be within financial and accounting areas. There will be routine tasks and opportunities to be involved in the optimization of existing procedures. Your weekly tasks will involve:

  • Execute tasks in the new system SAP UNISOL
  • Act as system super-user of HR department
  • Assist in creating procedures
  • Process payments and investigate on needed information
  • Create purchase requests
  • Assist with procurement related tasks
  • Analyze and track payments and vendors

Candidate profile

Who we are looking for
Your personality and interests are of utmost importance in order to be successful in this position. We are looking for a person that is known for persistence in obtaining the needed information and focused on details, combined with a personal drive and pro-activeness. You are an outgoing team player willing to work independently most of the time. Routine tasks and formal procedures will be part of your daily work, therefore you are patient in obtaining a high quality of work and well structured. Moreover, you are interested in the area of HR and accounting and you have an open attitude when it comes to investigate on problems in order to find solutions. Finally, you will become a specialist within the financial area, so you are not afraid to ask for clarifications and you are comfortable in providing guidance and support.

Your background

  • You are currently studying at BSc or MSc level with a minimum of 2-3 years left of your studies
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office programs, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
  • You navigate well in new systems
  • You are interested in the accounting/financial area
  • Previous experiences with invoice processing and similar are an advantage
  • Proficiency in oral and written English
  • Danish language is an advantage
