Key Responsibilities

As a Student Assistant in the Business Development & Joint Venture department, you will be exposed to real world challenges within the Oil and Gas industry and apply both your educational background and soft skills. You will be given the opportunity to work on real cases in strong cooperation with different stakeholders in the Total organization. Furthermore, you will be involved in everyday tasks and ongoing projects bringing a dynamic and interesting workday. Potentially, you will be given the opportunity to gain further insight to our business as an intern or in connection with your Bachelor or Master Thesis.

Overall, with the varying day-to-day tasks and approximately 15-20 hours per week, you are responsible of managing and shaping your daily tasks. You will be given a clear area of responsibility which, to a certain extent, will depend on your experience, educational background and personal interests and ambitions.

Your scope of work will be:

  • You will apply your educational knowledge and willingness to learn to support specific initiatives under the Digital and Innovation program, across the maturation process.
  • You will act as a focal point for students’ projects within the Digital and Innovation initiative by following through to ensure coordination and progress.

Candidate profile

Who we are looking for
It is important that you possess a safety mindset. You are currently enrolled at a university and we expect your study to have insights on Marketing, Innovation and Business. This position calls for a structured approach to planning and workload prioritization. This is with high quality focus to details and interest in new technologies. Moreover, it is crucial to have a pragmatic attitude towards people and tasks. Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills are essential. We are looking for an extrovert self-starter with the ability to build relationships and work constructively with others to achieve business goals.

Your background

  • Resident in Denmark, near Esbjerg
  • Relevant educational degree, preferably at your last year of Master
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programme: Word, Outlook, Power Point and Excel
  • General understanding of business cases
  • Previous studies or experiences within Economics and/or Social Media Platforms is an advantage
  • Background in Digital Technologies is a plus
  • Flexible and goal oriented
  • Ability to work with multitasking
  • Proficiency in oral and written English
