Key Responsibilities
As Offshore HUC Site Planner in the Tyra Redevelopment Project (TRP) team, planning is a key aspect of the project services controls function and for a project of the scale of Tyra it is imperative that a dedicated planning function is in place to ensure that the various plans on the project are integrated and communicated effectively to all stakeholders. Furthermore, the purpose of the planning function is to ensure that progress is measured effectively across the project and that any schedule risks are communicated to the project leadership team. This function is vital in order to keep on track with the project Critical Success Factor of completing the project according to the agreed schedule

Overall, you have the responsibility of coordinating planning activities between Brownfield, Hook up, Commissioning and Wells teams of the project.  
These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:

  • Maintain progress control reporting.
  • Performs a role of a connection link between Offshore Construction Group and Project Control/schedule team based in Esbjerg office to ensure that project scope is accurately prioritized, critical path is correctly identified and communicated.
  • Analyzing variances to the plan and propose mitigation actions.
  • Supports the performance management process, when necessary, by producing weekly reports which measure schedule performance and plan attainment.
  • Identifying schedule interfaces and making them visible for integrated project schedules.
  • Compliance with Project Planning Procedure.
  • Assists with the update of integrated offshore project plans and other ad-hoc requirements.

Moreover, this position calls for excellent stakeholder management skills with a pragmatic planning approach.

Your background

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience of oil and gas industry including project control and planning experience within oil and gas.
  • Experience in working offshore is an advantage.
  • Engineering, economical or other relevant educational background.
  • Knowledge of Primavera P6 and Power BI systems.
  • Proficiency in oral and written English.
