Key Responsibilities
Overall, you have the responsibility of managing departments technical and administrative tasks. Furthermore, you will ensure maintenance of the systems to retain data in the function, distribution of reports and management of procedure/operations manual updates. Finally, you are responsible for the correct application of SAP processes, e.g. use of WBS structure in SAP as well as being the super user and support others.

These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as: 

  • Distribute reports, programmes etc. to internal stakeholders;
  • Compile technical reports, PowerPoint presentations etc.;
  • Perform IT related tasks and upload of documents to the intranet;
  • Update the departments personnel records;
  • Plan and book arrangements, travels, courses, external conferences and hotel bookings;
  • Ensure documents are updated and the department is notified of any changes;
  • Be the Decentralized Buyer performing standard procurement activities of low value services and issue orders;
  • Assist in procurement of services and materials
  • Be familiar with, and assist in administrative processes, e.g. work point, DnV verifications request and document control;
  • Assist in cost and reporting;
  • Coordinate with other Technical Assistants to ensure consistency across assets;
  • Work closely with Field Operations team to ensure consistent work flow and finance reporting;
  • Work closely with Campaign, Maintenance and Inspection Team to ensure the right priorities.

As Technical Assistant in the Field Operation, you will be able to shape and develop a central role with great influence in assisting project managers on administrative tasks related to project management as well as planning and performance reporting and follow-up. You will act as the Generator of Purchase Requisitions for the department below $50,000. This is with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies in maintaining focus on continuous improvement of process efficiency. You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when monitoring and updating budgets, cost, timescales and resources used and recommend actions where these deviates from agreed tolerances.

Your background

  • Experience in data management;
