North West Projects is a national Engineering design company with a Nuclear sector focus. Being part of Vinci ENERGIES with a turnover of €48 billion, has allowed NWP to grow in an exciting but secure manner. We are currently recruiting a Finance Business Partner to help run the Finance function. The ideal candidate will have finance experience within an Engineering sector.

• Responsible for the finance and financial control of the entire Business Unit
• Advises and supports the Business Unit Manager and operational staff by providing and interpreting analytical information to enable effective decision making
• Provides support in ensuring that the rules, principles and the internal control requirements of the Group are met
• Ensure the Business Unit meets all its financial reporting obligations

Profil :

• Ideally CIMA, ACCA, AAT or equivalent accounting qualification
• Knowledge of General Accounting, Payroll, Financial Planning, Project Accounting, Cash Management and Control & Reporting
• Strong financial skills applied in a project costing context
• Ability to analyse and interpret variances
• Good knowledge of basic accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Timesheets

North West Projects (NWP) has over 30 years’ experience of multi-discipline engineering design across the full project lifecycle, including support through manufacture, testing and installation/commissioning in both the nuclear and non-nuclear environment. This work takes place within a highly regulated environment and we have had involvement across the majority of UK nuclear sites. Our NWP offices comprise of purpose built modern accommodation constructed on Matrix Park, Chorley. This building now houses a fully integrated multi-discipline engineering design team, plus quality assurance, project controls, financial, commercial and administration functions. In addition to our head office, North West Projects also has office accommodation on Westlakes Science & Technology Park with a team of engineers and designers providing a local rapid response capability to our client at Sellafield site. The types of engineering design projects and work packages undertaken include nuclear glove box and containment systems, waste retrievals and remote handling, process plant control systems, special purpose machinery, storage, decommissioning, size reduction, asset care, services (machine and building) and engineering substantiation for safety case compliance. Our engineering design capability covers all core disciplines including Mechanical, Control, Electrical and Instrumentation (CE&I), Process and Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC).
