Job Description

The “Asset Management and Hub Coordination” department oversees Total Solar International projects under construction or in operation and the coordination of the international hubs: monitoring / optimizing the performance of assets and risks (regulatory context, etc.), definition of budgets and long-term plans, commercial negotiations (possible renegotiation of loans, EPC / O & M subcontracting agreements and shareholders’ agreements), preparation of the governance bodies of the project companies, possible partial or total transfers of The team is based in Paris working in conjunction with local teams (India, UAE, Japan, Chile, South Africa, etc.).
By joining the department, you will be responsible for the technical management of a portfolio of ground mounted PV, CSP and storage assets and to optimize TSI portfolio operational performance through a pro-active continuous improvement approach and close collaboration with the local teams.
Your daily responsibilities ….
In close collaboration with the local teams and the support of the central departments, you will be in charge of actively supervising the portfolio of assets
In particular:

  • Ensuring a coherent “Technical Asset Management” approach between TSI’s different geographic areas and meeting the Group’s expectations in terms of operational excellence and HSE;
  • Supervising the operational performance of the assets (ex: Production/performance)
  • Contributing to revenue optimization of each operational asset by identifying the causes of underperformance and by being pro-active towards the local teams in the propositions of those underperformance mitigations (ex. Technical levers, selection of partners).
  • Implementation of operational improvement procedures including the definition, implementation and monitoring of performance indicators and P&L (availability, PR, equipment failure rate, opex, etc).
  • Implementation of an Asset Performance Monitoring system. Ensure the success of the implementation with the platform provider. Act as a real expertise & advise center and contribute to increase the skills of local teams to take full advantage of the solution.
  • Negotiation / optimization and management of O&M and EPC contracts during the warranty period.
  • Technical due diligence of new projects and estimation of O&M costs.

Total Solar International is a fast-growing entity in the renewables markets established in a variety of countries (India, Japan, Middle East, US, South Africa, Chile, etc)
Regular interaction with different stakeholder in different countries (local teams, service providers, equipment manufacturers, etc).

Candidate profile

You do have an engineer degree and minimum 8 years relevant experience in the solar utility scale sector?

In this case, the role should suit you.

You have a good analytical skill, communication, negotiation, reactivity, and a good resistance to stress and the motivation to join an international and dynamic team evolving in a stimulating work environment.
Your Fluency in English is required.
French, Indian, Spanish or Japanese is desirable but not mandatory.
