Join Total Assets / BtoNoc department within the Operation division of Total Renewables and be part of the engineering team of Solarisation businesses by Providing high quality technical support to the business development and the project management teams regarding solar, wind and storage power projects on Total sites (worldwide) at every stage of project: from feasibility to O&M.
Moreover, multidisciplinary position requiring agility to work on a wide range of different scales (from 40 kW to 100MW) and technologies (solar, wind, storage, gas turbine, genset…) with a focus on electrical considerations, but not only.
Indeed, the Electrical Engineer will support the Engineering Manager while being responsible and accountable to:

• high quality of technical support from the Solarisation teams
• high degree of compliance from the engineering service with Total Renewables requirements in terms of safety, environment, reliability, cost

• standardization and duplication on an industrial level of the engineering tasks, documentation, process

What could be your next day-to-day responsibilities?  
As a direct report to the Engineering Manager, the candidate will:

• Edition of basic engineering design reports including general array Layout
• Execution of yield generation computation (PVsyst, Helioscope, ….) in accordance with internal guidelines
• Edition of LV/MV/HV basic single line diagram including different voltage type (DC&AC) and range (LV/MV/HV)
• Support to the CAPEX/OPEX estimation of MW scale electricity generation plant
• Recommendation on grid connection feasibility and optimization especially on MV range
• Support to the design and optimization of complex hybrid system such as Solar + Storage + Gas/Diesel generator
• Technical review of external documents (electrical design, diagram, calculation note, … etc ) from EPC, owner engineer, technical advisor, ..
• Assistance to affiliates during EPC tender phase, execution phase, O&M phase
• Ability to address topics other than purely electrical such as civil work, structure, automation, monitoring

Profil recherché

What is the profile of our ideal candidate? 
You do have University degree in engineering (electrical engineering will be preferred) and minimum 5 years working experience in the electrical field with focus on power generation (renewables are privileged but experience with other power sources will be also considered)?

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate that he/she has the following capabilities.
Among them:

• First experience in wind isn’t mandatory but will be considered as a plus for the position
• Knowledge of engineering electrical codes and standards, experience with grid code analysis and implementation
• Multicultural and international experiences
