Are you a multifaceted bilingual (French/English) Communication student in your last year of study? Are you looking for some real-world job experience? If yes, this internship is for you!
We are offering an exciting 6-months internship opportunity within our Communication team located in Geneva. The team in not only supporting the communication efforts locally but also internationally (including Singapore and Houston offices)
In order to support the growth of our Trading & Shipping (T&S) branch within the Total Group, the communication department has been recently set up as an innovative function. The communication practice is mainly internal-focused (branding strategy, corporate information and promotion of the variety of our jobs) and is supported by a wide range of communication tools and measures (editorial, internal events, company social networks, …).
Your job :
You will support the communication department in their daily tasks including but not limited to:
- Research of topics for the internal newsletter and intranet, news writing, iconographic research.
- Production of internal communication videos
- Logistical and operational support for internal communication events
- Formatting of documents
- Activity reporting
You will also be in charge of two specific missions at the heart of the deployment of the internal communication strategy:
- Community management for a corporate social network (Yammer)
- Deployment of an employee volunteering program dedicated to local citizenship initiatives.

- You’re currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MBA degree with a Communications, Marketing or Advertising focus and after some previous Communication experience you are now looking for an end-of-studies internship to put your range of skills into action.
- You’re a self-starter with a passion for learning who is not afraid to ask questions.
- You are a quick thinker who can rapidly understand complex subjects and you have an appetite for economic and financial issues
- You shows operational responsiveness and have some project management skills
- Things change and move pretty fast on a trading environment and your ability to quickly adapt, change direction and think out of the box is critical.
- You have a good penmanship and you fluently speak and write in French and English.
- With your natural ease, you will be able to integrate into a resolutely international environment.
- Advanced knowledge of the Office suite (including PPT and XLS)
- Due to restriction applied to work permits in Switzerland we can only accept applications from Swiss or EU citizens.
- Only University sponsored applications will be considered.
