Modalities
Product Owner at 80% for 12-24 months, reporting to iMMAP and seconded to an NGO specialized in the health sector.
Profile with practical humanitarian experience and knowledge of product management. Being versed in Agile methodology would also be an asset.
There is no location obligation for the profile but being able to come to the office a few times a year would be appreciated

iMMAP France is a non for profit organization that provides information management services to humanitarian and development organizations. Through information management, we help our partners target assistance to the world’s most vulnerable populations ad we support local authorities and institutions to enhance their capacities and become autonomous in their internal data and information management activities.
Context
The GIS core mission is to support informed decision making through better spatial comprehension, enhancing the focus of health services around patients, and increasing the impact and efficiency of the regular and emergency interventions. GIS service team aims to provide an intersectional operational support system, thanks to a framework of dedicated tools and services, that is reliable, agile, adapted to emergency contexts and needs, timely, and efficient.
The GIS Centre is organised as a coordinated network, composed of GIS specialists dedicated to successfully providing GIS products & services. The GIS Centre works with a specific set of actors grouped around a common objective but who are of varying statutory natures (internal vs. external NGO, academic, industrial, vendors, etc.), and who’s physical locations are spread over several countries.
Mission
To define the roadmap of the core GeoApps (creating a vision for a product, ensuring maximal value for the users throughout its implementation, etc.). The products the Product owner will mostly focus on in 2023 are the Security Context GeoApp and the Health Context GeoApp as well as on the evolutive maintenance of existing GeoApps.
Tasks
– Scope of version (priority of new functionalities and bug fixing)
-Ensure consistency of general and detailed requirements (both functional and non-functional)
– Quality of product (including testing)
– All functional documentation of the product
– Communication to GIS team regarding the product
– Help with communication with key users
Day to day work:
• Responsible to update, maintain and enrich the backlog of GeoApps
• Responsible for documentation update regarding the GeoApps (concept note, JIRA issues, user manual)
• Responsible of the GeoApp quality (testing)
• Maintain list of GeoApps application comprising main contact for each application and application status
• Propose strategy regarding evolution of GeoApps as products (new functionalities, etc.)
• Ensure all GeoApps Application are available from the platform and published according to the right access levels
• Responsible to provide feedback regarding the usability of GIS Centre internal tools for the product (ex : Jira, publication on SharePoint)
• Provides N2 support on GeoApps
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
