MainResponsibilities

Supporttothepreparation,coordination,andfollow-upofsessionsoftheCouncil,Executive Committee and related meetings, notably:

·       Undertake review/synthesis of official documents for the Council and Executive Committee and other relevant documents prepared by Committees and Directorates, ensuring general coherence, readability and consistency with established procedures and precedents, in liaison with their bodies as necessary.

·       Contributetothepreparation/draftingofbriefs for theChair of Council and ExCo inadvanceofmeetings.

·       ContributetothedraftingofSummaryRecordsofandfollow-upto meetings.

·       Contribute to the drafting of analytical reports on issues of interest to the Council and ExecutiveCommitteeandtospecialprojects,aswellasad-hocnotesandspeakingpoints for the Director.

·       Draft speeches, talking points, briefing notes and other materials for the Director’s meetings and events, including for the Director’s strategic engagement with Permanent Representatives and Deputy Permanent Representatives, in collaboration with all other members of the team.

·       Co-ordinateinputsfromtheSecretariatandMembercountries’Delegations

·       Contributetostrengtheningrelations withMembersandactivelymonitortheirpositions.

·       KeepabreastofkeyinternationalpolicyissuesofrelevancetoOECDmandates,with respect to identified OECD priorities.

·       Carry-out relevant research and analysis as needed.

AcademicBackground

·       Anadvanceduniversitydegreeininternationalrelations,politicalscience,internationallaw or public policy/administration, or the equivalent experience in public administration.

ProfessionalBackground

·       A minimum of twoyears’experienceinorworkingforapublicadministrationincludingin government, affiliated public sector agencies or international organisation would be an asset.

·       Involvementinorexposuretogoverningbodyprocesseswouldbeanasset.

·       GoodcommandofMicrosoftOfficeapplications(Word,AuthoringEnvironment,Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Languages

·       AnexcellentwrittenandoralcommandofoneofthetwoofficiallanguagesoftheOECD (English and French) and working knowledge of, or willingness to learn, the other.

·       Knowledgeofotherlanguageswouldbe an asset.
