The intern will get fluency in BSTDB Operation cycle and documentation, including assisting with:

  • preparation of project documentation, market research and analysis, analytical briefs for short term trade finance operations and Novotel Lviv operation;
  • participation in preparation and review of SMRS, GI1 portfolio data;
  • filing and documentation support to GI1;
  • preparation of disbursement applications;
  • other relevant tasks to support GI1 activities.

Applicants should:

  • be students/have a degree preferably in Economics, (Econometrics, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Industrial Economics), Finance;
  • be proficient in Microsoft Excel,Word, PowerPoint;
  • have Internet navigation skills;
  • team player, dedication, capacity for working both supervised and independently.

3.    No other documents, unless specifically requested through the internship announcement, shall be accepted and/or considered.

BSTDB accepts internship applications throughout the year and interns are selected based on the respective departmental needs. Starting dates are only indicative and may change.

Successful applicants will be informed by the Human Resources Department of the exact dates of the internship period.

All applications will be kept by the Bank for 2 calendar years and can be considered for similar internship openings.

Eligibility criteria

Internship at the Bank is open to candidates who, on the date of commencement of the internship:

  • are enrolled in an undergraduate (i.e. leading to a bachelor’s degree, generally following secondary education) or graduate (i.e. leading to a master’s or a doctoral degree, generally following a bachelor’s degree) studies in a university or equivalent (this must be certified by an official confirmation of enrolment from the university or equivalent); or have obtained a full degree for undergraduate or graduate studies (as described above in this paragraph) within the 24 months immediately preceding the date of commencement of the internship;
  • are minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years old;
  • have excellent command of spoken and written English;
  • have not previously benefited from an internship at the Bank or have worked at the Bank.

Candidates who fail to meet the above minimum eligibility criteria shall not qualify for selection.
