Job Role Summary

As Upstream Analyst you will:

  • Become a member of Budapest Upstream Teams with the aim of maximizing the value of ExxonMobil’s Upstream portfolio
  • Build knowledge of Upstream businesses, tools and processes
  • Help ensure ExxonMobil, its affiliates and other contracting parties meet all contractual obligations

Actual work activities depend on the specific role, consisting one or more of the following activities:

  • Maintain and oversee all aspects of contract and task administration within one or more relevant portfolios
  • Provide process, administrative and analytical support to Upstream teams
  • Interpret contract language, terms and conditions into administrative actions
  • Provide settlement, invoicing, back office activities within one or more relevant portfolios
  • Identify, communicate and resolve contract, price or volume related issues, working effectively with contract owners, support functions, and external parties
  • Identify and promote process improvement initiatives

Requirements
    • Bachelor/Master`s degree (Business Economics, Law, Accounting is a plus)
    • 3-5 years relevant work experience
    • Fluent level of English is required
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, competency in Excel
    • Ability to influence others without authority and work in a team
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to accuracy and details, and ability to meet priorities and deadlines
    • Willingness to take self-initiative and seek challenges
    • Ability to work full-time (40 hrs/week)
    • Interest in long term career opportunities
