Jhpiego is hiring for the position of Data Analyst under Women’s Cancer Project. The position will be based at Lucknow and will work closely with the State teams, NHM and project teams based at India Country Office.

The Data Analyst will support Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) department by communicating and coordinating on a daily basis with the Jhpiego project teams at field offices. This position requires experience coordinating health data management with stakeholders mainly national and state governments. S/he should be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines and have working knowledge of data analysis tools/software.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate timely collection, collation, compilation and dissemination of data pertaining to various project.
  • Support project field offices in data management/data auditing.
  • Verify accuracy of the data of NP-NCD (especially cancer) by performing periodic data quality checks; prepare and submit reports to the supervisor.
  • Assist in data collection and conduct field visits for follow-up assessments as needed.
  • Conduct/ support trainings of the data record reporters of the program facilities as needed.
  • Develop and maintain database for capturing the programmatic data and maintenance of queries and programs for analysis and related reports.
  • Support supervisor in analyzing data, developing dashboards and generating relevant graphs and information.
  • Develop relevant dashboards for data visualization purposes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate diploma in computer science (BSc/B.E/BCA/PGDCA) is essential. Master’s degree in computer (MSc/ MCA etc.) will be preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in compiling and analyzing Public Health Data at State/National level.
  • Working Experience in development of Data Management Tools for Public Health Data is desired.
  • Knowledge of HMIS will be preferred.
  • Working experience of Advance Excel with Macro Programming is desired.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access, PHP and MySQL will be preferred.
