Jhpiego is hiring for the position of Knowledge Management Officer based at New Delhi. The position will contribute to the Documentation and Knowledge Management of Health and Wellness Center (HWC) Programs at Jhpiego India and reports to the Advisor Documentation and Knowledge Management and Coordinator Regional South Asia PHC Forum.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure regular documentation of the achievements of the program and develop various knowledge products including lessons learnt, policy and advocacy briefs etc
  • Ensure the increased visibility of NISHTHA’s achievements among various stakeholders including MoHFW and USAID by developing various knowledge and advocacy products
  • Identify and organize events and different avenues for disseminating the achievements of the project of a regular basis
  • Support in increasing the digital brand engagement of NISHTHA at national and international level
  • Support in organising key events/webinars/ted talks/advocacy workshops/brown bag events of the project including dissemination events to showcase the work of NISHTHA among external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and maintain the repository of all materials to enable cross learning and sharing
  • Build a culture of knowledge sharing within the NISHTHA team and among external stakeholders through communities of practice
  • Work closely with the Advisor Documentation and Knowledge Management and Coordinator Regional South Asia PHC Forum to streamline NISHTHA’s documentation and knowledge management
  • Support the Chief of Party in ideating and increasing the visibility of NISHTHA through regular campaigns, ted talks and other new high visibility mediums
  • Perform or assume other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • Post-graduation in a related subject of Social Sciences, Public Health or Mass Communication.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in documentation and knowledge management preferably in the not-for-profit sector in India.
  • Previous experience of developing knowledge products and managing knowledge platforms is preferred,
  • Advanced knowledge of grammar, usage, and editorial style and guidelines.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), especially working with styles and templates.
  • Excellent writing skills and have previous experience in similar tasks and quality documentation and ability to simplify and present complex terms as per audience.
