The Role:

Oxfam in Indonesia is looking for Consultant to carry out capacity building activities for partners for 1) knowledge related to climate change and 2) the ability to carry out campaigns, both online and offline.

We’re looking for a candidate who cares about Oxfam’s mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to our feminist principles and values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion in all you do.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

  • Have experience in conducting training to increase the capacity of participants with creative and effective methods.
  • Strong experience in develop curricula and materials on climate change campaign issues in local, regional, and international contexts.
  • Have a network of experts in the field of climate change science, media communication and campaign.
  • Have an understanding in gender equality
  • Ability to demonstrate an openness and willingness to learn about the application of gender/gender mainstreaming, women’s rights, and diversity for all in the context of climate change
  • Able to work according to the agreed time frame and committed to completing the task
  • Excellent language skills for writing and communication, both English and Indonesian.

Desirable

  • Work in a team and have a clear division of tasks.
  • Experience working with international institution, international NGOs, and local CSOs.

Duration:

 The assignment is expected to start in the first week of June 2023 and end within fourth week of February 2024.

Financial component

  • Detailed estimated budget for this assignment, including gross consultancy fee, budget lines for resource persons, per diem, accommodation costs and other meeting costs, (for bootcamp Oxfam will cover the meeting package and accommodation costs for the participants)
  • Consultancy fee should be indicated in gross terms, which includes tax either 10% VAT or 2,5% for PPh.
